From May 30 to June 3, 2016, a mission from the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD), in Niger, will organize a study tour in the village of Koukouldi (Center-West region of Burkina Faso). In Koukouldi, the implementation of the multiple-use water services (MUS) approach by the USAID WA-WASH Program helped to develop the cultivation of moringa as a livelihood activity for women from this village. During the study tour, the mission from Niger will meet this group of women and learn how they produce moringa, sell the leaves and seeds, process products including powder, soap, and ointment in order to meet many of the needs of their families.
